Introduction
This baking course is perfect for individuals who love pies and tarts! Our course is designed to provide hands-on experience in creating various types of pies and tarts. We’ll also provide you with tips and tricks for creating the perfect lattice top crust and decorative designs. By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills to bake pies and tarts that will impress all of your family and friends.

Your Instructor
Chef Luisa
Graduated from Culinary Arts specializing in European Cuisine and Bar & Restaurant Management, Chef Luisa quickly made a name for herself in the industry. Having accumulated over ten years of experience in the F&B sector, she has worked previously in numerous capacities as a Head Chef in Brazil for Italian and Brazilian Restaurants, a Chef Consultant, Private Chef, and as a Culinary Instructor. Since 2018, she has lived in Hong Kong and has had the privilege of working at several prestigious local establishments such as: Black Sheep Restaurants and Louise (A Michelin-Starred institution) among others. Today, she works at the Academy, spreading her passion and knowledge of the pastry arts to her students.
Awards
Students who achieve a minimum attendance of 75% may apply for “Attendance Certificate in English Patisserie C”. Award will be issued within 3 months.

FAQs
Kindly pay the initial deposit for the course as well as prepare the following items:
- Chef uniform set deposit - total $392 in cash (uniform - $300, apron - $50, big towel - $30, and chef hat - $12; non refundable)
- Two new kitchen clothes with different colors $12

Make-up classes are allowed but are subject to: prior approval, validity of proof of absence and availability. In addition, make-up classes do not count as attendances.
